His first season landed him in a comfortable 20thin the overall standings, picking up points in Le Mans and Jerez, as well as the season finale in Valencia.
With a year’s experience under his belt, Chantra returned to the CEV in 2018 and achieved multiple top 10 results, with his best being 4thin France. Last year, Chantra also competed in the Moto3 Thai event as AP Honda Racing Thailand’s wildcard, successfully securing 9thahead of Czech Jakub Kornfeil, after qualifying in 24th, finishing just 1.643 seconds behind Di Giannantonio in first.
