Jesko Raffin returns to the MotoGP paddock in 2019 in the all-new electric series, MotoE onboard the Dynavolt Intact GP branded Energica machine.
The Swiss rider has a wealth of experience in Motorcycle racing, starting his professional career in the Moto2 World Championship back in 2012 competing in 3 World championship races with the GP Team Switzerland Moto2 team.
Jesko then returned to the Spanish paddock competing in the CEV Moto2 championship in 2013/2014, finishing 4th overall in 2013 and winning the title in 2014 collecting 10 wins on the way. Them results saw Raffin get another chance in the Moto2 paddock in 2015 onboard the Sports-Millions-EMWE-SAG team, a team he rode for up until the end of 2016, but returned for the final few races in 2018, after being dropped from the full-time grid ahead of the opening round in Qatar.
In 2016, Raffin finished in 25th position with 14points on the board. In 2017 Raffin then moved to the Garage Plus Interwetten team and had his best result at Phillip Island (4th). Raffin ended the season in 20th position with 26 points.
For 2018 Raffin competed and won the Moto2 CEV Championship and will be back in the championship in 2019 onboard the Dynavolt Intact GP bike and will also run in the inaugural MotoE World Cup with the same team.
