The popular Spaniard will return to World Superbike paddock in 2019 after competing the final third of the season in MotoGP.

After making the transition to MotoGP for final third of the season and scoring points there, Jordi Torres will return to World Superbike paddock for 2019 season after signing a deal with Lucio Pedercini run team, which means that experienced Spanish rider will ride a Kawasaki machine after spells on Aprilia, BMW and MV Agusta so far in his Superbike career. It remains to be seen if he will be joined by a team mate, after both initially confirmed riders for 2019 season Yonny Hernandez and Gabriele Ruiu have left the team.
