BSB: Ben Currie steps up to Superbikes with JG Speedfit

2018 runner up in the Dickies British Supersport championship Ben Currie will join Glenn Irwin at JG Speedfit Kawasaki in 2019.

Australian Ben Currie will step up to British Superbikes in 2019 along side Irishman Glenn Irwin in the all new Kawasaki backed JG team.

Currie finished 2nd to Jack Kennedy in this seasons British Supersport Championship winning a total of 7 races.

Currie has been around the paddock for years competing in Superstock 600 with CF Motorsport Yamaha before joining Gearlink Kawasaki for the 2018 season.

Currie will partner Irwin for 2019 and is now the 2nd top team to announce their 2019 plans after PBM Ducati announced Scott Redding and Josh Brookes.
