Danny Kent will line up on the British Superbike grid for the first time in his career onboard the Halsall GSX-R1000.
Former Moto3 champion Danny Kent joins Halsall Suzuki for the final round of the Bennetts British Superbike season after being dropped by his former Speed Up Moto2 team.
Kent was able to carry out a test at the Brands circuit on Wednesday, inside the usual 7-day cut-off, Kent soon got up to speed after not riding the Kent circuit in just under 10 years.
Team boss Colin Wright assures Danny that there is no pressure on the 2015 Moto3 champion as he makes his British Superbike debut this weekend.
Kent is Halsall’s 4th rider of the season after Tommy Bridewell got dropped from the team at Snetterton before running Tom Neave and Chrissy Rouse, who is still recovering after his nasty crash at Cadwell.
