Spaniard Jordi Torres will make his MotoGP debut at next weekends Aragon Grand Prix as he is set to replace the injured Tito Rabat who is recovering from his nasty leg break at Silverstone 3 weeks ago.
Current MV Agusta World Superbike rider Jordi Torres will jump onboard the GP16 Avintia Ducati in Aragon, whilst Xavier Simeon will once again ride the GP17.
We last saw Jordi Torres in the MotoGP paddock in 2014 where he competed in his final season in Moto2 before heading to the World Superbike grid.
Rabat was replaced by Ponsson for the last round of the championship but the Frenchman qualified last and finished a lap down.
Torres currently lies 10th in the World Superbike championship on his MV, the bike he switched to after riding the Aprilia and BMW. World Superbikes is back in action this weekend, with Torres ending day 1 in 3rd.
