After announcing he will no longer continue onboard his GP2 Supersport machine, Kyle Ryde will get to ride this weekend at Oulton Park, continuing in Supersport.
Nottinghamshire’s Kyle Ryde has been given yet another chance after getting a call-up from Martin Halsall to ride his Yamaha R6 in the British Supersport class.
Kyle is no stranger to the R6, competing and winning races onboard the CF Motorsport Yamaha before heading over to World Supersport.
Speaking to BSN, Kyle said: “I’m really grateful for the opportunity and I hope we can have a really good weekend. I plan to be fighting up at the front – I’m certainly not going there to just make up the numbers.”
This will be Kyle’s third different bike of the season, after splitting with Craig Fitzpatrick’s all-new Superbike team.
