After the withdrawal from British Supersport by MV Agusta, Alastair Seeley has been given a lifeline by EHA Racing to join them for the rest of the season.
Alastair Seeley will get another chance at the British Supersport championship after joining EHA racing for the remaining few rounds of the season. The Carrickfergus rider rode for the team at this year’s North West 200.
Seeley, who has earned a 24 North West 200 wins, signed for the remainder of the British Supersport season in July with the MV Agusta team after starting this year in the Superstock 1000 class on the WD40 Kawasaki.
Speaking to Bikesport News, Seeley said: “It’s a competitive package and despite only agreeing with the deal this afternoon [Thursday], I’m confident we can tweak the set-up to suit me, in the knowledge that we can be racing at the sharp end on Saturday and Sunday.”
Alastair will be out on the track with the EHA Yamaha R6 tomorrow morning for FP1 at 09:35.
