MotoGP: 2019 Calendar Announced!

The official calendar for the 2019 MotoGP season has been announced, with the first round starting at its usual Losail circuit on March 10th.

The 2019 MotoGP calendar is hugely unchanged after Mexico and Finland have been confirmed to miss the 2019 season to focus on safety and completing their respective circuits.

Qatar will once again host the opening round of the 2019 MotoGP season under the lights on March 10th 2019 before heading to the usual Argentine Grand Prix at Termas De Rio Hondo.

On the 14th of April, the MotoGP paddock will head stateside for the American Grand Prix before starting the European leg of the season at the usual Circuito de Jerez.

After Jerez, we will visit more of the classic tracks, Le Mans, Mugello, Catalunya, and Assen before ending the first half of the season at Germany’s Sachsenring.

Once the long summer break is over we go racing again in Czech Republic on the 4th of August before heading to the Red Bull Ring in Spielberg a few days later.

After the 2018 shambles of a British Grand Prix, Silverstone has secured it’s place on the 2019 calendar, taking place on the 25th August, but still must carry out a huge amount of work to be ready to race in 2019.

The final remaining rounds of the European leg will take place in Misano and Aragon before they fly to Thailand for their second visit to the Chang International Circuit, before then heading to Japan, Australia, and Sepang.

As always the season finale will be held at Valencia, with the season coming to an end on the 17th November.
