Isaac Vinales will return to the Moto2 paddock as he replaces Eric Granado who split with the Forward Racing Team after the Czech round last weekend.
Brazilian Eric Granado has announced that he will no longer be riding the Forward Racing Moto2 bike and will be replaced by Isaac Vinales, who also split with his SAG Team ahead of Brno.
Isaac Vinales was replaced by European Superstock 1000 rider Alejandro Medina for the Czech round and also this weekends Austrian Grand Prix.
Eric Granado joined Moto2 in 2012 on a Motobi but only managed a best of 25th. He then stepped down into Moto3 for 2 seasons before heading to CEV to compete in the Moto2 championship before making his Grand Prix return alongside Stefano Manzi in the Forward team.
Forward Racing welcome Isaac with “Open Arms” and hope that the Spaniard can adapt to the Suter MMX and fight inside the top 15.
We wish Isaac all the best on his return, and also Eric for his future in racing.
