Superstock 1000 rider Tom Neave will replace Dan Linfoot in Superbike class at this weekend’s race at Thruxton
For 23-year old Lincolnshireman Neave Thruxton will be the opportunity to showcase his talent and skill in Superbike class as he stands in for injured Linfoot, who broke his scaphoid in a crash at Brands Hatch two weeks ago. After mixed weekend for Tom at Brands, finishind third in first part of race one, while not scoring any points in part two of race 1 and not finishing again in race 2, this move came as a bit of a surprise, but impressive test at Cadwell part put any doubts to rest.
It remains to be seen how Tom Neave will do, but while learning curve will be very steep, getting good results and taking advantage from this opportunity could help elevate Tom’s career and speed up his rise even more.
