Be Wiser Ducati’s Glenn Irwin snatched his first pole of his British Superbike Career after breaking the lap record in Q3.
Glenn Irwin will start the opening Bennets British Superbike race from pole position after his record-breaking 1:24.628 in the third qualifying session.
It’s been a solid weekend so far for McAMS Yamaha, as Josh Brookes lines up in 2nd position ahead of RAF Regular And Reserves Kawasaki, Jake Dixon.
Tarran Mackenzie heads the second row after setting a time just 0.1s off Glenn’s top time. In the middle of the 2nd row Leon Haslam has salvaged his weekend as he set the 5th quickest time and he lines up ahead of his teammate Luke Mossey.
Christian Iddon lines up in 7th place ahead of Andrew Irwin, who after a crash in Q3, starts in 8th, his best qualifying result so far. Rounding off the third row and taking the final spot in Q3 is the Buildbase Suzuki of Richard Cooper.
Honda’s Jason O’Halloran just missed out on a spot in Q3 after setting the 10th fastest time ahead off Hickman and Buchan.
It’s been a tough weekend so far for Bradley Ray who lines up in 14th position on the Brabham straight for the 20 lap race tomorrow.
On his return to BSB, Tommy Bridewell suffered a crash in Q1 and will line up on the penultimate slot on the grid ahead of Aaron Zanotti.
