British Supersport: Alistair Seeley Switches To MV Agusta Machinery For The Rest Of 2018

Since the Scottish round of the British Superbikes, Alistair Seeley has left the WD-40 Kawasaki team and switched to Dave Tyson’s Tsingtao MV Agusta team in the British Supersport class.

Alistair Seeley will switch from the British Superstock class to the British Supersport class for the rest of 2018.

Seeley, who had been riding on the WD-40 Kawasaki, will return to the Supersport class, where he last rode the new Triumph Moto2 bike during the 2017 season.

Alistair first stepped onto the scene in 2008 in the National Superstock class but then moved to the 1000cc Superbike class in 2009 and rode the Suzuki till 2012.

In 2011, Seeley took a step back into the Supersport class, Alistair took 10 Supersport wins that year.

More recently Alistair Seeley rode the Tyco BMW on the short circuits and the road circuits.

The Wee Wizard is one of the best riders around the Triangle road circuit as he has taken 24 victories at the North West 200 circuit.

Australian Superbike rider Bryan Starring will replace Alistair Seeley in the WD-40 Superstock 1000cc team.
