Taylor Mackenzie announced that he and the Moto Rapido Ducati squad will split up back at the Scottish Round of the British Superbike Championship.
After departing with the Moto Rapido Ducati squad at the start of July, Taylor Mackenzie has been looking to get himself back in action for the remainder of 2018.
The Bathams BMW team, that run Michael Rutter in the British Superstock class, has given Taylor a chance on the black and gold BMW as he is set to replace Michael Rutter who will become the team manager as he steps down from short circuit racing at this time.
Michael ‘The Blade’ Rutter has been with the Bathams BMW team for a number of years and has scored podiums and wins with the team on the short circuits.
Taylor will be returning to the Superstock series, the class that he won the championship back in 2016, also on a BMW.
This news comes after the announcement of Sam Clarke leaving the Morello team who also run in the British Superstock class.
Knockhill double race winner Keith Farmer leads the championship ahead of Billy McConnell and Joe Collier.
