Taylor Mackenzie will no longer ride the Moto Rapido Ducati after coming to an agreement to end their partnership ahead of qualifying at Knockhill.
Taylor Mackenzie will not take part in his home round this weekend at the Scottish circuit after coming to a mutual agreement to part ways with Steve Moores Moto Rapido squad.
The Moto Rapido Ducati squad made it’s debut in the MCE Insurance British Superbike class back in 2011 after a season in the Superstocks with Scott Smart and has since then branched out into the Moto3 class.
Taylor made his British Superbike Debut in 2015 on the WD40 but then stepped back into the National Superstock on the Buildbase BMW where he took the championship at the end of 2016. Taylor then rejoined the MCE British Superbike grid with the Buildbase Suzuki and ended the season in a disappointing 19th position.
Taylor now joins the list with Tommy Bridewell who are both looking for a ride for the remainder of the season.
No one has yet been announced as the replacement for Taylor.
